About the Design of the “Come and Take It with AR 15, Patriotic Military Army” T-shirt

Come And Take It is a movement to protect the right to own AR-15 assault rifles in the United States. Inspired by the historic “Come and Take It” flag, which dates back to the Texas Revolution in 1835, when the people of Gonzales refused to surrender a cannon to the Mexican army and dared them to “come and take it.”

The original “Come and Take It” flag featured an image of a cannon, a lone star, and the defiant phrase. The modern adaptation replaces the mortar with the contemporary AR-15 rifle and is embraced by gun rights advocates to oppose any proposed restrictions or bans on AR-15s. This flag is also seen as a statement of Texan pride and sovereignty.

The “Come And Take It” T-shirt has a big AR-15 rifle image and the words “Come And Take It” written boldly underneath. At the top is a big white star. The American flag on the sleeve shows that folks should have the right to bear arms to protect themselves in challenging situations. This tee shows that everyone won’t let anyone take advantage of them and will always stand firm.
