About the Design of the “National Tight End Day The Tight End Way October 22 2023” T-shirt

This shirt draws inspiration from National Tight Ends Day, an annual event celebrated on the fourth Sunday of October by the NFL.

The idea for National Tight Ends Day was born during the second week of the 2018 NFL season when the San Francisco 49ers scored a touchdown in the third quarter. A tight end from Jimmy Garoppolo electrified the crowd; amidst the celebration, Jimmy inadvertently exclaimed a phrase that would give rise to a widely celebrated day, “What is it, like National Tight Ends Day?” Finally, on October 27, 2019, the NFL celebrated the first official National Tight Ends Day, starting a league-wide festivity. Since then, it has become an annual day of recognition, paying tribute to the vital role of tight-end players in the league.

In 2023, National Tight Ends Day falls on October 22, even more exciting than ever. In a video posted by the NFL, George Kittle takes the wheel of a convertible car, hanging out with Christian McCaffrey, Ross Dwelley, Charlie Woerner, and Kyle Juszczyk. They are seen having a great time, dancing, and singing praises, displaying a celebratory spirit.
