Khaliente, a charismatic African-American rapper, has a huge passion for sharing his daily life through social media. However, what truly sets him apart is his title as a “motivational speaker,” where he skillfully embeds concise yet profound messages into his everyday photos, many of which express unwavering support for the Black community.

Khaliente’s brainchild, “Niggas Is Art,” is an initiative aimed at raising awareness and empowering the African-American community to break free from the chains of historical stereotypes and derogatory tags. Among the designs featured on many products is the statement, “For 400 years, they’ve been giving us scraps! But every time, we take scraps and make a masterpiece. We took the scraps and made soul food. We took the scraps and made fashion. We took our pain and made jazz, rock, hip hop, and R&B. We took the ghettos, gave them culture, and built them up to the standards of gentrification,” which has become a viral rallying cry within the color community.

This shirt draws inspiration from these inspirational words.
